Rank Checking #1 - 28th of September 2009

Today we are just going to check how are the rankings in the search engines for several keywords.

With a search with my website's name I am ranked first in Google, Yahoo and Bing.

In “Bruno Search Engine Optimisation” I am 14th in Google the reason for this being I believe is because of the fact of a movie coming out with the name “Brüno” and there have been some posts and comments on some websites about it, but still first in Yahoo and Bing, but by adding “Consultant” I am ranked first in all search engines.

Now comes the hard part. Searching without a brand name or something that would make it easier for me to be recognized. Searching with “Search Engine Optimisation” and “Search Engine Optimisation Consultant” I can't even be found. But by giving myself a location, and this is just by adding that I am from Cambridge in my webpage in the About Me section. Not even in the homepage I am ranked 36th and 175th without the word consultant, without the word Optimisation, I am 57th which is a good improvement.
