Robots - 16th of June 2009
Well I still haven't been found in Google. Amazingly enough, even after having submitted my webpage through the Google Webmaster Tools, inputing "site:brunoseo.com" in Google still has no results. So I decided to login again to my google webaster tools and decided to do my robots.txt file. To try and get the googlebot onto me.
So I have uploaded my robots.txt file to my main directory.
Also since my website hasn't been crawled yet, I went into the Google Settings and changed some things. For one I decided only to target UK users, since in the UK we write Search Engine Optimisation, and in the US they write Search Engine Optimization, meaning I would have to increase the keywords after I input them meaning I would probabily receive a penalty from Google.
I also choose to be seen as *brunoseo.com* instead of *www.brunoseo.com* for aesthetic reasons only, I am actually hoping that it could influence my incoming traffic and SEO but I doubt it.
And finally, I changed the Google Bot Crawl Rate to make it a bit faster, considering it is a blog and blogs are constantly updated.
And the verification has been done. So now I have to wait again until the Google Crawl comes by my Webpage.
I have also decided to submit my webpage for review on a WebDesigner forum, so besides also increasing my traffic, would also mean that I would get links in and Google would perhaps register that.
